Ballikinrain Include Me In Services

Welcome to the Ballikinrain website.   We hope you find it interesting and would welcome any comments you might have.   We are particulary pleased to receive comments from former pupils and hear how you are.

Although originally delivered on the Ballikinrain Castle campus, Ballikinrain ‘Include me in’ Services are now delivered locally to communities based through out Scotland.   Our services are;

• Family-centred services that support parents in their role – rather than taking over their role.
• Child-centred services that deal with each child as a ‘whole child’ and with all his or her relationships and involvement with his or her communities

Prior to the Church of Scotland owning Ballikinrain, it operated as St. Hilda's School for Girls and some years ago a number of former St. Hilda pupils visited.   We would be pleased if St Hilda former pupils contributed to the St. Hilda page.

The website will be used for posting professional papers and again we would welcome any comments.   I am delighted to share with you a paper presented at the recent conference held on Childhood Obesity and also a paper on our initial thoughts in relation to establishing a Nurture Group.
