CrossReach Christmas Collection 2010

CrossReach Christmas Collection 2010

Well the snow may not be laying round deep and crisp and even but Christmas fast approaches here at CrossReach. Our “Christmas Collection 2010” catalogue is now available with a range of calendars, cards, gifts and Christmas goodies. The vast majority of our cards are specially designed and exclusive to CrossReach. Included in these are the winning entries from our annual Christmas card competition which are “Perched Robin” by Jacqueline Jack a member of New Restalrig Church in Edinburgh and “Christmas Pudding” by Mrs Joan McKichan of Woodside Parish Church in Aberdeen. A huge thank you goes out to every church, individual, youth group, Sunday school and CrossReach service who took part. Every year you send us new and exciting ideas and choosing which card will go to print is never an easy task.

Our competition to feature in our 2011 catalogue starts NOW and is a great activity for groups during the Christmas period. You can start work on your designs any time and the closing date for entries will be February 11th 2011. We hope you have a great time drawing, colouring, painting and sticking and we look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations!

As with last year all the items from the “Christmas Collection 2010” catalogue will feature on the web shop but the web shop will also have a much wider range of items available so it is well worth a browse. The web shop has a good range of gifts and we have received very positive feedback on the layout and ease of ordering, if you prefer not to pay online using our secure payment system you can browse then order by phone. Please remember that if you cannot see the gift you are looking for in our own web shop that you are very likely to be able to find it in one of the varied ranged of shops featured at www.buy.at/circleofcare with a percentage of the purchase price being donated directly to CrossReach. Stores featured include Amazon, HMV, Ernest Jones, Marks & Spencer. Play.com, Woolworths, ASDA, Littlewoods, Thorntons, Waterstones and many more .

Our Circle of Care calendar will again this year feature beautiful Scottish scenes and information on our services. Our photographer again this year is the much respected Duncan McEwan from Bridge of Weir whose photos last year saw terrific customer feedback. We hope you will agree that at £4 the calendar delivers terrific quality and value for money especially compared to other calendars on sale on the high street, many of which are mass produced abroad.

Our outlet service, where orders can be collected locally, are currently being agreed so please phone and check or visit our website for confirmed dates and venues. Orders can also be collected from Charis House, 47 Milton Road East, Edinburgh during office hours Monday to Friday but please call and place your order at least 24 hours in advance. It is always worth considering coming together with neighbouring churches for one large order to take advantage of free or discounted postal charges and bulk discount on calendars.

“Christmas Collection 2010” goods can be ordered through the web shop, by post, or by telephone. Our Christmas Collection team is smaller this year and inexperienced so please be patient and understanding. To try and avoid any disappointment with items being sold out we would recommend ordering early and if you order by telephone or through the web shop you will know immediately if the items you want to order are all in stock.

If you would like a “Christmas Collection 2010” catalogue or details of our confirmed outlet dates for this year please call us on 0131 454 4374.
