Employee Benefits
CrossReach offer a range of benefits in addition to competitive salaries we offer generous annual leave and sickness entitlements. In addition CrossReach offers a Group Personal Pension Scheme and Life Assurance. Further details of which are detailed below. Permanent employees will also be part of the Westfield Health Plan again further details below.
Friends Life Pension Scheme
For all employees CrossReach will contribute 10% of salary to their Group Personal Pension Scheme.
There is no requirement for the employee to contribute but may do so if they so wish. The retirement provisions provider is Friends Life and our pension adviser will send you all relevant information on joining.
CrossReach also provides life assurance known as Death in Service benefit of 3 times your salary for scheme members. There is no cost for this benefit and it is provided free of any medical underwriting.
Westfield Health
CrossReach makes contributions for all permanent employees to be members of a health benefit scheme provided by Westfield Health.
Not only can employees claim back some dental, optical and therapy costs but receive quick access to MRI, CT and PET scanning facilities as well as access for themselves and their resident family to 24 hour Freephone Counselling and Advice lines.
In addition to these benefits CrossReach offers a range of other employee benefits where through salary deductions employees can join schemes to save money on childcare, claim money back for optical or dental bills or save money through a Credit Union. Details on each of these salary sacrifice schemes are detailed below.
Computershare Voucher Services
Our partner organisation, Computershare, produce childcare vouchers. How it works is that you can arrange for the cost of the vouchers to be deducted from your salary. These vouchers can be set against some of what you pay in National Insurance and Income Tax. This means that up to £243 per month, per parent can be saved in child care costs, (depending on individual circumstances). The vouchers cover children up to the age of 16 years and can be used over a wide range of childcare provision.
SCVO Credit Union
The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Credit Union allows employees to save through money being deducted from their salary by payroll. Subject to conditions you can then apply for loans which are at a much lower rate of interest. Full details can be obtained.
Simply Health
Simply Health offers an everyday health plan. There are five levels to choose from you simply decide which suit you and make one monthly/fortnightly payment deducted directly from your salary. Simply Health provides tax-free cash payments to assist with a wide range of health care costs.
This includes a generous maternity grant, cash towards glasses or contact lenses, cash towards dental bills, even cash back for acupuncture.
Give as You Earn
This is a cost effective and convenient way to make a regular donation to any registered charity or charities of your choice. Deductions will be made from you salary on a monthly basis before tax or NI is taken off and then paid to your favourite charity or charities.
