'Every Individual Matters' at Rainbow

Roseanna Cunningham MSP officially opened the new CrossReach Rainbow House on 09 November 2011.  The service which was previously in the Glasgow Southside will move to a purpose-built facility in the Scotstoun area of Glasgow.  It offers residential rehabilitation, support and social care to help people recover from addiction and regain control of their lives.  Thenue Housing’s development comprises of flats at the front as well as the new Rainbow House at the rear which CrossReach will lease from them.

Service manager Vic Walker is excited about the new development: “We believe that every individual matters and that people can live a life free from addictive behaviour. Our supportive staff team are committed to helping address people’s addictions and now have the perfect environment to do that in the new Rainbow House.”

The geographical positioning in the west end of Glasgow allows for more integrated service delivery as we continue with the Whiteinch Move On Service and ARC (Aftercare Recovery Community) in The Whiteinch Centre.
