The Haven - The End of an Era

On 8th September 2011 ‘The Haven’ at Balshagrey Parish Church will close it’s doors for the last time to service users.

Open since 1993 this drop-in facility for people looking for support with a mental health issue has been a real feature of the community and sanctuary for so many.
 
Sadly funding changes in Glasgow mean that the grant for the service is no longer available and so the service can no longer be offered by CrossReach.
 
To mark the occasion and say farewell to service users and staff , we are having lunch and an afternoon  of activities and thanksgiving on the 8th September.
