Facilities

Bellfield
Bellfield House is ideally situated in its own grounds, 18 miles west of Aberdeen in the picturesque town of Banchory.
Bellfield has a central position amidst an active local community and is within easy walking distance of the local shops, banks, post office, bowling green, churches, library, opticians, GP and Dental practices.
Accommodation
Bellfield House has accommodation for 27 older people in mainly single rooms with private washing facilities, 5 rooms are single en-suite. Each room has a nurse call system allowing residents to summon assistance 24 hours a day. Rooms can be offered furnished or unfurnished as residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personal effects as we feel that this helps them to create that 'home from home' feeling.
There are two lounges in which to relax and socialise, one larger lounge area with a conservatory leading off where residents can sit and wach the world go by. The smaller lounge is a quiet lounge where residents can read, do craft work or just sit, relax and enjoy the views.
There is a large dining area in which a choice of nutritious home cooked meals is offered. Our catering is to a high standard and the service is flexible to meet the needs and choices of each resident, accomodating special diets.
The house has its own garden and greenhouse, where residents are encouraged to 'potter' with plants. There is a small paved area with outdoor seating where residents can enjoy the outdoors when the north east weather allows! There is a summer house in the garden where residents enjoy being outdoors whatever the weather!
There is a designated smoking room for residents who smoke.
Service Users are welcome to have their own funishings, pictures and personal items to make their room as homely as possible and to help them feel at home in their surroundings. They can arrange to have a telephone fitted within their room at their own expense. All electrical equipment must be tested by a qualified electrician before admission.
The building has a secure entry system in operation for the protection of our residents, staff and visitors.
