Lewis Street Project

Location

The project is situated in the centre of Stornoway within a residential area of the town and close to all local amenities.

Accommodation

Lewis Street Project consists of 2 single and 3 double bedrooms, fully furnished and equipped flats. The project is the first of its kind on the island and a joint venture between Muirneag Housing Association, Western Isles Social Work and CrossReach (Church of Scotland Social Care). The project provides supported accommodation for 5 to 8 adults, with a view to preparing them for greater independence within the community.

Our aim is to enhance the quality of life and maximise the potential of those in our care. We provide support to individuals in a semi-independent lifestyle, offering freedom of choice wherever possible and fostering independence with responsibility.
