If you are looking for a safe, purpose-built environment where your child’s needs and preferences are at the heart of the services offered, then look no further than this well-equipped fun and nurturing centre.

Based in the residential area of Springburn in Glasgow, The Mallard is an ideal location for family focussed support.

Our well-trained, qualified and experienced staff all have, or are working towards both HNC and SVQ qualifications and they also are trained in PEG feeding, Epilepsy, Autism and Safeguarding.

Services offered at The Mallard

  • Residential short breaks

Little Marvels (birth – 5 years)
Little ones who have additional or complex needs come and play in a safe and stimulating environment with access to our sensory room.  As they play, parents and carers can chat with each other, and our staff are on hand to listen and support.

Short Breaks (5 years – 21 years)
Overnight breaks for children and young people with additional or complex needs. With full access to our sensory room hydrotherapy spa pool, art and craft room and large enclosed garden, your child’s key worker will help them get the most out of their stay. Activity and outing preferences, food choices and dietary needs will all form part their outcome focused care plan.
