Residential Service

“I like staying at Mill Road, Hamilton. I go out with staff in the car and I like going to restaurants for a nice meal and I like going shopping. I also like going to the Salvation Army in Bellshill and  sometimes I take my tambourine and I play it and I love the music” ISA MCGOWAN

Our three residential houses offer you the opportunity to live with others rather than on your own. They are homely and comfortable and have aids which make them particularly suitable if you have physical challenges. Our caring and well-trained staff team can help you with things such as personal care, eating and drinking and taking your medication.

You may or may not attend a day centre, but even if you do, you will have at least one day each week to spend time with your key-worker, doing things that you like to do. This might be a day-trip to a favourite place, shopping trip or just chilling out in the house doing arts and crafts, listening to music or catching a favourite film. In the evenings and at weekends you can spend time with your house mates and perhaps go out to a social event or share a meal. If you don’t want to join in, you always have a comfortable lounge or the privacy of your own bedroom to retreat to.
