Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival

Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival

The exciting launch of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival took place in the Scottish Storytelling Centre on the 01 September and this year was hosted by NHS Lothian.

The festival will run from 01 - 24 October 2011 in various venues across the length and breadth of the country and will feature and mix of film, theatre, music, dance, comedy, literature and visual arts.

There should be something for everyone and plenty to get people thinking and talking about mental health, with contributions from service users and people working in the field as well as those with an interest in exploring topical issues.

Crossreach Tynepark will be contributing to the festival by holding a day of wellbeing on 12 October with various fun and fascinating events to take part in http://www.mhfestival.com/events.php?display=details&event_id=136.

The full programme is available on www.mhfestival.com so find out what is on in your area and help support the festival.
