Location
The service has its office in the City Centre, but the service is delivered to people living across the City.

Accommodation
Threshold Glasgow ia a Housing Support Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities. We currently provide support to 40 people in their own homes provided by local Housing Assosiations.

We also provide Day services TG's at our offices.  TG's has it's own leaflet which can be supplied on request.

Individual Support Plan
We will help you to plan the support you want and need.
You will have a support plan which tells you the support we will offer you to:
Look after yourself and your home
Look after your health, including any help with your medication
Look after your money and pay your bills
Get out and about in the community
Go to work or college, or other activities of your choice
Have a social life and find new friends
Keep in touch with family and old friends

Family Involvement
We will give you any support you need to keep in touch with your family and friends, according to you wishes.   
You will get any help you need to phone, write to, e-mail or visit you family and friends.
If you want workers to keep your family informed about you, your support co-ordinator will make sure that this happens on a regular basis and that your family know who to contact in the worker team

Management & Staffing
Management team
The management team consists of the managing coordinator, coordinator (operations),  3 senior support workers and 2 project workers. All have the relevant professional qualifications and experience for the role.

Staff
We employ approximately 80 workers; some full-time, some part-time and some sessional; in order to ensure that people receive a consistent, yet flexible and responsive service. 95% of staff are qualified to SVQ 3, meeting SSSC registration requirements. Staff are also trained in autism awareness, epilepsy, dementia and other specialisms that enhance their knowledge and practice. They receive regular supervision and support from the management team.

Criteria
The service provides support to adults over the age of eighteen with learning disabilities.
Costs are negotiated on an individual basis through Self Directed Support funding as requied by Glasgow City Council.

Referrals Procedure
Anyone can make a referral, in the first instance by contacting the Managing Coordinator.
