Include Me In - Work

Last Monday Geilsland School held on open forum entitled: ‘Include Me in - Work.’  A range of groups, organisations, colleges and individuals were invited to an open forum where a variety of presentations were delivered.  These focused on the way life has unfolded for the boys (past and present) and the positive impact the school has made on their lives.

Chris McNaught (CrossReach Director of Children and Families Services) presented the long-term vision which will include consultation with employers, colleges and other outreach services. Over the coming months the school will evaluate the findings, develop links with a variety of partners and progress its own vocational training, with a view to better prepare pupils for a future in work.
