Rev Dawn Westwood

The Reverend Dawn Westwood serves as the minister at Boghall Parish Church, located just outside Bathgate. The church community is deeply committed to sharing God’s love locally and beyond, with mission and the spreading of the gospel being central to its work.

Rev. Westwood is married to Graham, and together they have three children: Logan, Eilidh, and Sophie.

Prior to entering ministry, she worked as a learning disability nurse and later transitioned into management roles, most recently with Royal Blind in Edinburgh. She brings to her ministry a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and advocating for equality for all.

For two decades, she was a dedicated officer with the 1st Whitburn Girls’ Brigade, where she valued the opportunity to mentor and support young girls and women in both life and faith.

Rev. Westwood also serves as the chaplain to Livingston Women’s Football Club, supporting the team in both their personal and professional journeys.

In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music and spending quality time with her family and friends.
