Our Confidential Conversations service brings our counselling expertise into workplaces across the public, private and third sectors, and to further and higher education establishments. It’s a vital service helping professionals and students to strengthen and manage their wellbeing and mental health.
As the Partnerships Co-Ordinator you’ll build relationships with prospective clients to bring in new contracts whilst maintaining and strengthening relationships with our existing clients to ensure contract renewals. You will work in collaboration with the Counselling Team to ensure the smooth and effective running of the service.
It’s a role that requires experience of initiative application of sales and marketing techniques, of managing contracts, and strong computer literacy skills. You should also bring strong interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful relationships, and share our dedication to our clients and our values.

Salary is pro rata of 38.50 hours per week (24.00).

Main Function
CrossReach Confidential Conversations offers counselling and training to workplaces and higher and further education institutions. Working with the Confidential Conversations team your main role will be to identify, secure, manage and maintain both new and existing business relationships. The job holder will develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and strengthen existing client relationships.
Main Duties
CrossReach Counselling Management and Business Development teams the post holder will:
- Foster and grow relationships with businesses and academic institutions across Scotland.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies, in line with CrossReach branding to effectively demonstrate the benefits of the Confidential Conversations Service, and manage relationships with existing clients to ensure their use of Confidential Conversations services are sustained or increased.
- Collaborate, plan and coordinate to ensure that resource allocation meets contract demands.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are in line with CrossReach standards and adhere to COSCA’s Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice.
- Capitalise on external and also internal CrossReach opportunities to sell our training packages.
- Maintain, monitor and evaluate standards to demonstrate to existing and future clients the efficacy of counselling supports and training inputs.
- Ensure effective record keeping, in line with CrossReach Counselling standards.
- Manage contracts and renewals.
- Demonstrate and share Christian love and support including sharing with others the leading of worship in accordance with CrossReach policy and by ensuring all staff meetings are opened with prayer and bible reading.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Educated to SVQ/NVQ level 4 in a relevant subject area such as sales and marketing or business studies. or have significant relevant experience
Desirable:
- An understanding of counselling and wellbeing supports
- Experience in coordinating training programmes
- Driving Licence

Skills and Abilities
Essential:
- Previous experience of developing sales materials and proactively contacting potential clients with a service provision.
- Possess good computer literacy skills including use of Microsoft Office, Teams and the internet.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to represent CrossReach and its Counselling Services in a variety of professional settings.
