Information

Therapeutic care has an incredible power. With a thoughtful question, a gentle prompt, open ears and a human connection, we can transform people’s lives. That’s why we’re keen to bring our counselling services to more people across Scotland. And it’s why we’re excited to welcome an enthusiastic sales and marketing professional like you to our team.

‘Confidential Conversations’ brings our counselling expertise into workplaces across the public, private and third sectors. It’s a vital service helping professionals and students explore and manage their mental health. It’s also a service we’re looking to grow, which makes your role as Partnership Co-ordinator one that’s full of both reward and impact.

Put simply, it’s about bringing our well-regarded counselling services to more people – whether by cultivating new partnerships or managing existing ones. So, as well as developing and implementing a marketing plan to target more businesses and academic institutions, you’ll nurture our client relationships to maintain and grow service levels. In either case, you’ll look to harness the difference we make already, by monitoring and evaluating our service delivery – quantifying the effectiveness of our counselling and training input to make a compelling case for investing in our expertise.

To take on the role, you’ll need proven skills in sales, marketing or business – whether that means you have a relevant degree or a solid track record in the area. You should be able to draw upon experience of developing sales materials and proactively marketing to potential clients. And, as a confident communicator, you should be ready to represent Confidential Conversations – and CrossReach generally – in all sorts of settings and scenarios.

Even though we’re one of Scotland’s largest voluntary social care charities – with a 1,600-strong team working across 60 services around the country – we genuinely value the individual. For our clients or services users, that means being treated with respect and care, regardless of the circumstances. For professionals like you, it means being part of a genuinely caring environment where you can contribute ideas, have your needs recognised and help shape your role around your ambitions.

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll receive a generous pension, health benefits, paid holiday and access to a range of leisure and retail discounts. Just as you’ll help us grow our service, we’ll do the same for your career, with extensive training, ongoing support and development opportunities.

Salary is pro rata of 38.5 hours per week.
