This is a temporary post for a two year period and will involve travel across Scotland to provide training at our Services.

Salary is pro rata of 38.5 hours per week.

Main Function

This two day a week role is to support ensuring organisational area specific training at employee level is delivered whilst the EDO for this area is on a temporary secondment.

This role will not have any responsibility for VQs as this lies with the current post holder who will undertake this three days a week.

Main Duties

  1. This role will purely be focused on supporting with the design and delivery of operational specific training for employees. 
  2. Through Christian leadership ensure that services reflect the Christian ethos and mission statement of CrossReach.
  3. To develop and deliver specialist training within service area as required and in consultation with head of service and principal officers
  4. As required, to represent CrossReach interests by attendance at meetings or committees relating to social care.
  5. To liaise with outside agencies as required by the Head of Service.
  6. Other relevant duties as from time to time may be required.
  7. To demonstrate and share Christian love and support including sharing with others the leading of worship in accordance with CrossReach policy and by ensuring all staff meetings are opened with prayer and Bible reading.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Qualification in training design/delivery
  • Qualification in relevant area of social care
  • Qualification by Experience (QBE) will be considered

Skills and Abilities

Essential

Experience of training design and delivery relevant to the operational area.

Post holder must possess good computer literacy skills including use of Microsoft Office and the internet.
