Information

Children’s Residential Care at Crossreach is all about potential. Identifying it, nurturing it, and realising it. As someone with leadership experience in residential care, you already know what it takes to help children realise their potential, especially in the face of personal trauma or challenging family circumstances. But with us there’s so much more to tap into. We’re one of Scotland’s largest providers in the sector, we’re leaders in trauma-informed care and we have both a solid infrastructure and an exceptional team. It’s the perfect platform for making a real difference – all we need is an inspirational leader with the potential to take us forward.

Leading our care service comprising of seven small residential houses and linking to a dedicated education campus, is a role where leadership and relationship go hand in hand – it’s about working closely with the rest of the Senior Management Team, your service leaders, and the wider staff group, as well as local authorities. And, at the centre of everything, it’s about relationships with children and their families – giving them the support and structure to heal, grow and succeed in the future.

We believe the service we provide is fresh and innovative, and it will be your job to keep it that way. So, it’s a role for someone with ambition and passion. With a proven background in the social care sector, you should understand the challenges that come with maintaining service quality while balancing budgets and developing people.

Even though CrossReach is one of the largest social care organisations in Scotland, we genuinely value the individual. For the children here, that means being treated with respect, whatever the circumstances. For seasoned leaders like you, it means fostering an environment where everyone can contribute ideas, have their needs recognised and achieve their ambitions – including you. Because as you support the children’s future, we’ll look after yours, with ongoing training, a generous pension, health benefits, paid holiday and access to a range of leisure and retail discounts.
