We have an opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to be the first point of contact for callers by telephone and in person and to carry out other associated duties including franking and sorting outgoing mail and co-ordination of the meeting room diary.

Salary is pro rata of 37.5 hours per week.

Main Function
To be the first point of contact for callers by telephone and in person and to carry out other associated duties as outlined below.
Main Duties
- To fulfil the role of receptionist ensuring visitors are met in an enthusiastic, friendly and approachable manner.
- Answer the telephone in a timely, professional manner and ensure calls are passed to appropriate individual/department.
- Cover your job share partner’s annual leave.
- To ensure all visitor’s details are recorded in the visitors book and to issue visitors with security passes.
- To receive and distribute correspondence, deliveries, faxes and incoming mail.
- To frank and sort outgoing mail.
- Co-ordinate the meeting room diary ensuring that all requirements for meetings/lunches etc are recorded accurately, appropriately and communicated to the relevant people.
- To keep up to date the relevant telephone/service contact details and issue to Central Services.
- To scan all invoices and follow the recording system.
- File invoices.
- To process all staff ID badge requests.
- To order office supplies.
- To oversee the sale of merchandise displayed within the reception area on behalf of the Supporter Development team.
- Maintain good communication between yourself and your job share partner.

Skills and Abilities
Essential:
- Postholder must possess basic computer literacy skills including use of Microsoft Office and the internet.
