Information

CrossReach recognise that having a baby is a challenging time in any parent’s life, with two in five parents experiencing emotional difficulties during pregnancy and early parenthood.  Left undetected and untreated the effects can go on for years and impact the whole family.

For over 30 years, our Perinatal Counselling and Therapy Service has provided a safe and welcoming Crèche, where parents feel completely comfortable leaving their children whilst they receive the support they need in order to move forward.

As a Relief Crèche Worker you will work with the Crèche workers to provide a welcoming, safe, secure and stimulating space for children aged 0-5 whose parents are attending the Service. You will support and nurture each child as an individual, care sensitively and respectfully for the unique needs of each child - promoting positive behaviour, continue to evaluate and implement the guidelines as lay down by the Care Inspectorate and promote an overall sense of fun and learning with all children, through the use of creativity, enquiry and creativity. You will also be required to contribute to achieving the highest professional standards of social care practice and for ensuring that quality standards are met.

In return we’ll make sure you have all the training and development you need, not only so you can do a great job, but to help you build your career with us too.  There’s also a benefits package that includes an employer contributory pension.
