Information

Our Counselling & Recovery team provide support to those over the age of 16 who are affected by their own or someone else’s past/present drug use.  The team is developing a blended model of face to face and online support which will include Individual Counselling, Group work (for those living with depression) and 30minute focused sessions known as Managing Thoughts Feelings and Behaviours which use tools to explore issues that may be affecting clients’ daily lives.

Individual Counselling provides  a space for a client to explore their thoughts and feelings surrounding the way their life is affected by their or another’s drug use; as well as concerns related to factors such as relationships, loss, anger, stress, guilt, shame, self-esteem, fear, anxiety, understanding addiction and drugs. Counselling at the moment is offered on a fixed term basis and clients are offered 12 weeks 1:1 counselling.

Counsellors bring knowledge of substance use and addiction to their work and share a client-focused approach. Counsellors are trained in a variety of counselling approaches.
