My Counsellor is such a great and amazing help to me. I had no hope at the start, I thought nothing would change. She really got me through my hard stages and I feel better than ever. Thank you
What to Expect
We want to make sure that we are the right service for you and so we offer you a 'Welcome Meeting' at a reduced rate where you will be able to come and meet with one of the team, tell us a little more about what has brought you/your child to counselling and hear about the service we provide. This will be a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have and get to know us. If you would like to go ahead then your child/Young Person will be offered a weekly 50 minute 1:1 session with a Counsellor or Art Therapist.
Sessions happen at our dedicated base in Simpson House, 52 Queen Street. We have young people's counselling rooms as well as art rooms that are designed to help young people feel at ease. We have some sessions available after school and others that young people can come to during the school day.
Costs
Sessions are charged at a fixed rate of £60 a session, with welcome meetings at a reduced rate of £45. Not only does this service have great benefits for you – fast and flexible access to counselling with one of our qualified and experienced counsellors – it also helps fund our donation-based services across the country, so we can provide counselling to those who might otherwise struggle to access support.
