Counselling and Art Therapy sessions for children and young people aged 5-24.

Our dedicated team of therapists offer weekly Counselling and Art Therapy sessions for children and young people aged 5-24. With experience of working with anxiety, depression, trauma, parental separation, parental drug or alcohol use, school difficulties, neurodiversity and much more.

What to Expect 

We want to make sure that we are the right service for you and so we offer you a Initial appointment where you will be able to come and meet with one our counsellors and talk about what has brought you/your child to counselling and about the service we provide. This will be a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have and get to know us. If you would like to go ahead then your child/young person will be offered a weekly 50 minute 1:1 session with one of our Counsellors. 

Sessions happen at our dedicated base in Cameron House during the school day or we can arrange to access a community space near you. Sessions for young people over 12 are also available online.  

 
Costs 

Sessions are charged at a fixed rate of £50 a session.  

Not only does this service have great benefits for you – fast and flexible access to counselling with one of our qualified and experienced counsellors – it also helps fund our services across the country, so we can provide counselling to those who might otherwise struggle to access support. 

We are also contracted under the Highland Council to offer counselling in several High Schools and the associated primary schools across the Inverness region for children and young people aged 10-18. This service can be accessed free of charge through contacting your child’s school.   

Accessibility Information 

The building is not currently wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, there is no lift access. Online appointments are available as an alternative.
