Light the Path Walk

Walk together to bring hope.

On Sunday 1st of November, we’re inviting people across Scotland to come together at dawn for our Light the Path Walk for CrossReach Sunday.

As the sun rises, walk together from darkness into light - symbolising the hope, compassion and support that CrossReach brings to people facing difficult times across Scotland.

Whether you take part with your church, congregation, family, friends or local community, every step helps shine a light on the difference CrossReach makes.

Gather your church, family, friends or local community and invite them to join you.

Choose your route
Pick a location and distance that works for your group. We suggest 2–5 miles, but it’s completely up to you.

Get registered

Start fundraising
Set up your fundraising page and encourage friends and family to support your walk. Once you raise £20, we’ll send you a CrossReach T-shirt in the post to wear on your walk.

Walk at dawn
On CrossReach Sunday, 1 November, set off while it’s still dark and watch the sunrise as you walk together. Bring a torch or lantern and help us Light the Path.

Want to take part but can't do a Light the Path Walk?

We know that an early morning walk won't be suitable for everyone, but there are lots of other ways you can support CrossReach Sunday.

From fundraising challenges and sponsored activities to coffee mornings, collections and community events, you can choose something that works for you and your community.
