Art as a vehicle for encouragement and empowerment

On his last visit of the week, Rt Rev Colin Sinclair and his wife Ruth Sinclair visited our new Heart for Art service hosted by St Andrews church in Carluke. Heart for Art is a vehicle for encouragement across Scotland for people living with dementia to "express themselves not in words or memory but in hand, in colour and in painting". Arriving in time to join the afternoon's art session, the Moderator was welcomed by staff, volunteers and Heart for Art participants who shared their art and stories with their special guests.
