CrossReach Reports to the General Assembly

This weekend we shared the work of CrossReach over the past year with the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
Dr Mike Cantlay, Convenor of our Board, shared powerful examples of people whose lives have been impacted by the hard work, compassion, and loving dedication of our 1,700 staff and 300 volunteers.
He spoke about the importance of being forward-thinking in our approach to sustainability as we continue to grow, evolve, and move forward, ensuring we remain equipped and ready to support those who need us most.
We also heard about the importance of speaking up and using our voice politically on behalf of our society who depend on a strong and robust social care system, both now and in the future.
Thank you to those in the hall who commended the work of CrossReach and spoke about the transformational impact that can be achieved when our people and partners work together in love, in Christ’s name.
We were also deeply grateful to hear messages of thanks and appreciation for the 30 years of service our CEO, Viv Dickenson, has given to CrossReach and the Church of Scotland ahead of her retirement later this year.
