Heart for Art? "I'm lost for words"

In other circumstances we would have created a bespoke exhibition of art created by the artists of CrossReach's Heart for Art but - we are living in a pandemic so creative solutions had to be found!  So as part of today's event, the Heart for Art team showcased the online exhibition, on display for the month of November at Elcho Artspace.

Featuring 30 beautiful and diverse images, the Moderator admitted to being "lost for words" at the quality of the work and at the impact this service is having on the lives of the people who attend the classes and their carers.

The Moderator was introduced to artist Carol and her husband Malcolm who shared something of their journey with dementia and the huge benefits they have experienced through Heart for Art.  He particularly noted his delight at receiving a framed print of an image created by a Heart for Art artist.
