Sundown Stories - Peggy of Metal Bridge

Jennie and her sister Mary in RAF uniform

The third and final instalment from the Sundown Stories collection is a tale of the bittersweet highs and lows of owning a dog.

Jennie, a former resident of our The Elms dementia care home in Edinburgh, shared her memories of her time with Peggy, a fox terrier, and we’d like to thank Jennie’s family for allowing us to share this story and for providing the picture of Jennie (left) and her sister Mary in their RAF uniforms.

So make that cuppa and get to know and love Peggy as Jennie* did.
