Tartan Supper

Tray showing plates with Scottish treats

On the 25th January Craigsbank & East Craigs church centres held a 'Tartan Supper' in Craigsbank Church hall to raise money for Cunningham House in Edinburgh. The evening was organised by our care van team. The supper was for our members, friends and families.

Planning of the event started before our new Minister Alan Childs and his family joined us in November, so this was also a great way to welcome them to our parish too.

The 112 attendees were treated to a 4 course home cooked meal. A raffle was organised too with excellent prizes generously donated by local businesses and restaurants.
Christie Childs, the daughter of our minister, sang a beautiful rendition of 'Ae Fond Kiss' and the evening was topped off with a game of Oor Wullie beetle.

It was a really fantastic evening. A great social event for the congregation and at the same time raising money for a very worthy cause.

The amount raised for Cunningham House was £3,328.50
