Clashfarquhar House

We offer residential care to older people with various abilities and support needs. Clashfarquar House is situated in the centre of the Stonehaven, close to all amenities and on the local bus route.

Clashfarquar House has 20 flats, each with a sitting room, bedroom, kitchenette and an en-suite wet room. There are bathrooms within the home for anyone wishing to bath independently or with assistance. Television and telephone points are located in each apartment.

As a resident of Clashfarquar you are encouraged to bring your own possessions according to your preference and to help you feel at home.

There are several communal lounge areas, furnished to a very high standard, where you can meet your fellow residents and enjoy activities together.

A call-system allows you to request assistance twenty-four hours a day in all areas of the building.

We pride ourselves on the high standard of our catering – delicious, nutritious and able to accommodate special diets.

Respite care
To enable carers to have a break or cope with unforeseen circumstances, we offer Respite Care. Respite Care also offers the opportunity to enjoy a holiday at Clashfarquhar on a regular basis or as a trial period before a permanent admission. We aim to continue the daily routine enjoyed at home as far as possible as well as making this an opportunity for a break.

Your Individual Care Plan
When you live at Clashfarquar you will be allocated a keyworker who will help you draw up your own Individual Care Plan. This involves discussing current needs and future aspirations, recognising choice, rights, fulfilment, independence, privacy and dignity. Your family can be involved in this if you wish.
