Perinatal Counselling and Therapy for parents and families in Glasgow.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) update January 2022:
Due to the very high demand for our Perinatal Counselling Service, Bluebell is currently unable to take on new referrals for our Donation Counselling Service. We will review our ability to take on new donation-based referrals towards the end of January, so please check this page for an update.
We can accept referrals for fixed-fee clients who are able to attend via a secure video platform or telephone. At £50 per session, your first session will normally be arranged within a week with one of our highly experienced counsellors. We recommend you can pay for a minimum of 6 sessions. To find out more about this option, please contact email@example.com.
If you require immediate support, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123; Breathing Space on 0800 83 85 87; your GP or NHS 24 on 111.
9.00 am - 7.00 pm (Monday - Thursday)
We welcome referrals from anyone expecting a baby or living with a child under 2 and who is facing challenges.
- These challenges may lead to difficult feelings and make it hard to cope
- Our Specialist Perinatal Counselling Team will be ready to support you
- By telephone or secure video platform
- You may also be able to join one of our counselling support groups
- You are not alone
Appointments are usually weekly on the same day and time and last around 50 minutes. We’ll discuss the day, time and frequency of these sessions with you.
Our donation-based and fixed-fee services
Our services are offered on a donation basis. At the start of your therapy, we will ask you if you can make a contribution to your counselling. The ability to pay will never be a barrier to accessing support.
We also offer a Fixed-Fee service at £50 per session. Your first session will normally be arranged within a week. We recommend you are able to pay for a minimum of 6 sessions. To find out more about this option, please contact the team.
We provide a crèche where you can safely leave your children, under 2, while you are attending your face-to-face counselling.
Throughout the year, we run baby massage support groups.
"I would like to tell you how much I enjoy the baby massage group. The two ladies are so welcoming and provide such a nice atmosphere. After the group, I walk out of the Tom Allan centre and feel so much better and stronger!”
