Services offered at CrossReach Residential Recovery Service

  • Residential rehabilitation after substance use
  • Counselling and recovery

Thinking about rehab?   At the Residential Recovery Service (formerly Rainbow House), you will develop your own recovery plan specific to what you want out of life.  You will be supported to build your self-esteem and develop strategies to live without alcohol or drugs.  Through trusting relationships with our Recovery Team you can regain Hope and Purpose, and a place in your community. Soon you will become part of the recovery community in the service and build up tools to cope with life wherever you chose to live afterwards.

Who will support you?  Our skilled and experienced Recovery Team include recovery workers and volunteer peers.  Many of us have lived experience of our own recovery.  We are a male and female team and can provide gender specific support as part of your plan.  We are trained to understand complex trauma, mental ill health, offending and managing relationships.  When you first come to the service you will have a buddy who is at later stage of the programme and can support you to settle in.

Where?  Our service, based in the West End of Glasgow, is modern and welcoming, providing a mixture of private and communal spaces. You will have your own en suite room and nutritious meals provided for you. We are close to local amenities including Scotstoun Leisure Centre, Victoria Park, shops, cafes, health services, library and public transport. We are right in the heart of Glasgow's Recovery Community.

Our support includes:

  • Residential rehabilitation
  • En suite rooms
  • Personalised Recovery Plans
  • Structured group work programme
  • Leisure activities include a pool table, table tennis, TV and a private garden.

Recovery programmes offer:

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) - group work and one-to-one
  • Activities that promote physical and mental health
  • A range of activities to develop new skills and to celebrate recovery
  • Opportunities for education and volunteering
  • Access to Housing and Move On accommodation
  • Involvement of family and others who can contribute to long term recovery.
