Services offered at Umbrella Project
- Community Groups
At Umbrella Project, we will work with you to support your recovery by using activity in therapeutic ways.
You will be encouraged to shape the monthly programme and to take part in activities that are meaningful to you.
As you meet with other group members in this safe and inclusive environment, the therapeutic activity will give you alternative ways to express your feelings and emotions. You will also have the chance to share and listen to real lived experience stories, while being supported by staff and peer group members.
Our support includes:
- Cookery skills
- Therapeutic activities
- Intergenerational working
- Guided relaxation
- Arts and crafts
What our group members have told us:
‘Coming to Umbrella has improved my confidence and I’ve enjoyed meeting new people’.
M“ I feel like part of a community at Umbrella, I’ve met new friends and now socialise out-with the group which has been a real help to me”
