Local shops are only a ten-minute walk away and there is a regular bus and train service, literally on the doorstep.
Accommodation
South Beach House provides caring services for both individuals in very comfortable surroundings.
In each of the rooms there is double-glazing, central heating and, following recent refurbishments, many of the rooms have en-suite facilities. There is a call button service in each bedroom 24 hours a day.
There are three lounges, including television and smoking facilities, in which to relax and enjoy the company of other’s.
There is also a conservatory which seats twelve people and a summerhouse in the garden.
The dining room is spacious and comfortable with the cooks catering for all tastes and special dietary requirements. In particular, service users and visitors alike enjoy the home baking. Meal times are flexible and catering arrangements can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
There are small kitchens situated on the ground floor of the house for the use of service users, families and friends.
Services
Aims & Objectives
To care for older people in an environment that enables the individual to be involved in their care, making decisions, whilst providing the warmth and comfort of a safe and caring environment.
Individual Care Plan
Each and every person has the right to have dignity, choice, independence and a sense of fulfilment and sense of achievement. We aim for this when discussing and planning care plans with the individual.

An open door policy is operated in South Beach House and visitors are welcome at any time. Families are important to the home and are actively encouraged to be involved in the care of their relative, to whatever degree they feel able.
