Residential Accommodation

Our Residential Accommodation is currently located in North Ayrshire and Stirlingshire.  The style of building varies from small country cottages, to houses and a castle.

Our Residential Care with Education :

  • 10 day education placements and 32 residential care and education placements for children and young people aged 8-18. Care-only packages can also be provided.
  • Co-education service for both boys & girls.
  • Homely environment in small units with large grounds.
  • Integrated Care & Education service through our learning communities across the campus.
  • Single room with ensuite facilities in all accommodation.
  • Individual plans in accordance with GIRFEC.  Plans are based around SHANARRI indicatorsCurriculum for Excellence and the input of the young people and their parents/carers as appropriate.
  • Independent advocacy service from Who Cares? Scotland.

Our Residential Care Houses:

Our services are in a period of transition.  Young people once housed on the Geilsland Campus are now cared for in two comfortable houses in North Ayrshire and travel to the Geilsland site for education service only.
