Living well with learning disabilities

At CrossReach we believe that everyone has the potential to live life to the full.

We’ve been working alongside people with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs for over twenty years. For all of us here, the best part of the job is celebrating abilities and achievements, not any limitations you may have.

We’ll encourage you to choose the services and packages that you need, plan your care and be involved in decisions affecting the way you live your life.

Our Young Adults Day Opportunities Service aims to offer a creative and dynamic alternative for young people and families in providing a positive transition from childhood to adulthood by introducing person-centred activities that support a pathway from school to independence.

Here are the specialist services we offer people with learning disabilities:

  • Two men chatting
"I am so grateful to be given the chance to get better. I'm loving topic groups although it can be very emotional. I love walks in the park. Think my worker is amazing. Got trust in him which is hard for me, gave me hope in my recovery."
